Gatwick is further than you think

Gatwick is about 30 miles south of central London, well beyond most outcall journeys. A visit to an airport hotel is a long trip for a lady, so a taxi fare will be added and we will need more notice. Call us first and we will tell you what is possible on the day.

The easier option

The Gatwick Express reaches Victoria in about 30 minutes, and Thameslink trains run through London Bridge and Blackfriars to St Pancras. Staying one night around Victoria or Pimlico puts you close to the West End, with plenty of hotels to choose from and a much shorter journey for your booking.

Planning around your flight

For an early morning flight, book the evening before and leave yourself time for a good night's sleep. Allow at least an hour from Victoria to the terminal, and more on Sundays, when engineering work is common.
